Hamburger Steak & Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients

2 lbs beef

2 tbs butter

2 c mushrooms

3 oz cream cheese

1/2 c heavy cream

1/4 c sour cream

2 tsp or more garlic

1/2 c gruyere cheese

1/2 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp salt & pepper

1/2-1 c beef broth

Patty beef (I make thin patties for a large party & thick patties for just Ricky & I)

Sauté mushrooms in butter.  When mushrooms are just about done (browned/soft) add garlic and sauté another minute or less.

Go ahead and start cooking beef in a separate skillet or on low heat in your air fryer.

Add cream, cream cheese, and seasoning to the mushrooms. Once cream cheese is melted, add Gruyère.  Once melted add the sour cream and once mixed serve hot over hamburger steak.

NOTE - use beef broth in small amounts to thin gravy if you’d like to thin out.
