Cheesy jalapeño chicken

4-5 chicken breasts

     Seasoning:

     1 tsp garlic powder,

     1 tsp paprika,

     1 tsp cumin

     1/2 tsp both salt/pepper

Seasoned chicken and pan sear in avocado or olive oil oil cooking until done. Remove from skillet.

Jalapeño cheese sauce:

1 TBS butter

2 garlic cloves minced

1/2 C fresh jalapeños or jarred (your preference)

4 oz softened cream cheese

1/4 C sour cream

1/4 C chicken broth

In the same skillet once the chicken is removed turn the heat down and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted and garlic cloves and jalapeños simmering until fragrant. Add softened cream cheese and sour cream. Stir until mixed well & smooth. Add chicken broth and continue stirring until creamy.

Add chicken back to the skillet and top with cheddar, Monterey Jack, or even pepper jack cheese. Cover skillet, allowing cheese to melt.  Garnish with fresh cilantro.
